Chinese manufacturing growth slows in January
Chinese manufacturing purchasing managers’ indices (PMIs) fell slightly in January but continued to show improvement in the sector. Hot rolled coil prices have been weaker than rebar in last few weeks after being driven higher by strong manufacturing late last year, Kallanish notes.
