Chinese long steel offers remain unchanged in mid-October
Construction steel prices at the three major mills in eastern China remained stable in early and mid-October, Kallanish notes.
However, these mills have lowered the purchasing costs of dealers by offering subsidies to them. Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang offered subsidies of CNY 80-300/tonne ($11-42/t) and CNY 110-160/t to dealers in the first ten days of October and the following ten days respectively.
