Chinese long steel offers hold in mid-February
China's construction steel market has remained weak since the holidays, leading eastern Chinese mills to keep ex-factory prices unchanged.
Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang all agreed to maintain the long steel products' offers in the second ten days of February, Kallanish learns. The mills meanwhile provided subsidies to sales agents of CNY 80-200/tonne ($11-29/t), and also added CNY 80-150/t subsidies for sales in late-January.
