Chinese domestic HRC soars, exports remain calm
Chinese hot rolled coil prices kept hitting new highs last week as demand continued to be released, and follow-up policies to cut production helped to tighten the market. Real export transaction prices also skyrocketed but few deals can be done amid uncertain tax rebates policies, Kallanish notes.
