Chinese HRC rises slightly

Chinese domestic hot rolled coil prices have increased a little from the previous week. Export HRC, meanwhile, remains uncompetitive, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was trading at CNY 3,520-3,530/tonne ($500-501/t), CNY 5/t higher from the previous Friday.
