Chinese HRC price drop pauses transactions
During the first week after the Chinese New Year, a slow demand recovery dragged down Chinese hot rolled coil futures and domestic prices. Export prices consequently moved down and paused transactions to a certain extent, as buyers wanted to wait and see, Kallanish notes.
