Chinese HRC fluctuates amid Covid-19 lockdowns

Due to disruption caused by the spread of Covid-19, Chinese hot rolled coil prices fell after touching recent highs, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was traded at around CNY 5,100-5,130/tonne ($801-806/t), climbing CNY 15/t week-on-week.
