Chinese HRC prices fall as imported stocks released

Chinese hot rolled coil prices have fallen this week, even though local supply is tight, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Tuesday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was traded at around CNY 4,540-4,560/tonne ($696-699/t), down CNY 290/t from the previous assessment last Wednesday.
