Chinese HRC export prices slump further in Vietnam
Chinese hot rolled coil export prices have weakened further in Vietnam, Kallanish notes. Suppliers have lowered offers on steel demand weakness and continued uncertainties in China amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Certain Chinese and South Korean traders reduced their offers by $10/tonne from earlier in the week. Offers are now at $470-480/t cfr Vietnam for 2-2.5mm diameter thickness SAE 1006 HRC from China for April shipments. Offers from a mill in Taiwan and one in Sā¦
