Chinese domestic HRC market maintains downtrend

Chinese domestic hot rolled coil prices fell slightly last week, although futures prices continue to climb, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was trading at CNY 3,870-3,890/tonne ($562.66-565.57/t), a slight fall of CNY 5/t over the week.
