Chinese futures rise on coking limitations
China's futures market turned higher on Thursday, as the State Council emphasised the need to develop the private economy.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 43/tonne higher than Wednesday at CNY 3,784/t ($527/t), while the same contract for hot rolled coil gained CNY 44/t to CNY 3,887/t.
