Chinese firms add coke projects
Four Chinese companies announced the construction content of their coke projects last week, all of which will be located in Inner Mongolia, Kallanish notes.
According to Meijin Energy Company, its coke project in the Coking Supporting Chemical Cycle Industry Park in Urad Front Banner of Bayan Nur, will increase its designed capacity from 5 million tonnes/year to 6m t/y. It is expected the coking project will be completed by the end of 2022.
