China signs on to Zanaga iron mine
Zanaga Iron Ore Company Limited has reached an agreement with a Chinese firm to develop the Zanaga iron mine in Congo and use its product to support local infrastructure, Kallanish notes. The contract was signed by Zanaga, Glencore joint-venture Jamelles, and China Overseas Infrastructure Development and Investment Corporation Limited (COIDIC).
