Chinese HRC export prices climb
The price of Chinese hot rolled coils is still rising quietly with some shipments to the Middle East. However, Vietnam's desire for these materials is still relatively weak, Kallanish notes.
For Q195/Q235 grade HRC, offers have risen to $560-570/t cfr Vietnam for 3-12mm thickness products. Several Chinese exporters said these grades make up the bulk of exports, because higher grades are really hard to sell.
