Chinese EAF mills cease production on power curtailment
Eight electric arc furnace steel plants in southern China have been required to shut down production due to power supply restrictions. In addition to the gradual shortage of power supply, the shutdown was also affected by the construction of the Jiangxi-Shenzhen high-speed rail line, Kallanish notes.
