Chinese company invests in Bolivian rebar mill
China's Zhejiang Minxin Building Materials Company held a commissioning ceremony for its rebar mill in Bolivia on 23 May. Consul General Wang Jialei was invited to attend the ceremony in Santa Cruz.
Kallanish learns from the Chinese embassy in Bolivia that the steel mill is expected to produce 350,000 tonnes/year of rebar and to bring over 150 jobs to the local economy.
