Chinese coking companies approach break-even points
Chinese coking companies are approaching their break-even points after seeing a further decrease in coke prices on Friday last week, Kallanish notes.
By Friday last week, steelmakers in northern China have agreed with coking companies for a CNY 50/tonne ($7.1/t) reduction for coke. This is the eighth straight round of decline in domestic benchmark coke prices.
