Chinese buying surge lifts Indian semis exports
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, ballooned 162% on-year in October to 363,932 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. The average value of HS code 720719 billet was $396/tonne versus $502/t in October 2018.
