Chinese automotive steel demand ends 2015 strongly
Chinese carmakers saw a strong rebound in activity at the end of 2015, although weakness earlier in the year still brought production growth down from forecasts made at the start of the year. For steel demand, December’s 13.56% year-on-year jump brought 2015’s total to a 2.82% gain, Kallanish calculates.
