Chinese 2020 automotive output falls, steel demand rises

Chinese automotive production was relatively stable in December, with a -0.25% month-on-month decrease, but rose 5.7% year-on-year. Annual output however declined, but most of the drop from earlier in the year was made up in the second half, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
