Chinese wire rod holds, ASEAN import markets stagnate
China's wire rod export offers remained firm on-week due to the stronger Chinese yuan since this Monday, despite the slumping futures market. Customs' inspections on VAT-evading steel also pushed up offers from Tangshan.
