China's rod exports remain stable on weak demand
Chinese wire rod export prices have continued to stabilise this week. Demand has weakened during the off-season and the spread of Covid-19 in Southeast Asian countries has led to negative expectations.
On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $840/tonne fob China, unchanged from a week earlier.
