China's wire rod exports fall into despair
China's wire rod export market has seen the disappearance of demand this week due to the Covid-19 epidemic in overseas markets, Kallanish notes.
This week, the Chinese government announced it would raise the export tax rebate for some alloy wire rod to 13%, alongside a number of other products, in order to support exporters. However, market participants think this will not have a large impact.
