China's wire rod exports remain in turmoil

The Russia-Ukraine war has prompted market investors to avoid risk, with the Chinese steel market reporting a drop. During the week, Chinese wire rod export demand has been flat, leaving prices stuck. On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $770/tonne fob China, unchanged on-week.
