China's wire rod export prices decline after holiday
Chinese wire rod export prices have fallen after the Labour Day holiday, even as mills tried to hold domestic spot market prices firm.
On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $815/tonne fob China, down $10/t on-week.
