Rising market lifts China’s wire rod exports

Chinese steel prices have seen a significant rise after the Chinese New Year holiday, which has in turn boosted wire rod export prices. On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $760/tonne fob China, up by $20/t since before the holiday.
