China's wire exports fall less than expected
Chinese steel prices continued to fall sharply this week as demand contracted, but wire rod export prices fell less than market expectations.
On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $650/tonne fob China, down another $15/t on-week.
