China's Tutu invests coke battery in Zimbabwe
China's Jing'an Company subsidiary Tutu company is preparing to operate a 300,000 tonne/year coke oven in Zimbabwe. The coke oven is expected to be put into operation in 2021, Kallanish notes.
Tutu said the investment is about $80 million. The construction of this coke oven has completed, but the commission was delayed due to the Covid-19 impact.
