China’s steel imports increase, exports decline in November
Chinese steel product imports reversed recent declines to increase in November, but export volumes still maintained their fifth consecutive month of decline, Kallanish notes.
Monthly steel product imports, not including semi-finished steel, increased by 26.02% from October to 1.424 million tonnes. Year-to-date import volumes thus stood at 13.267mt, a year-on-year decline of 29.6%.
