China's shipbuilding completions recover slowly in May

China's shipbuilding completions recovered month-on-month in May, but the blow of lockdowns did nt dissipate until June and so continue to supress data. According to the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), China's shipbuilding completions reached 14.28 million deadweight tonnes in the first five months of 2022, seeing a 15.3% drop on-year.
