China's shipbuilding completions decline in January-February
China's shipbuilding completions fell year-on-year in the first two months of 2022, with new orders also slumping markedly.
In the reporting period, shipbuilding completions declined by 9.6% on-year to 6.53 million deadweight tonnes, which suggests around 2.26 million tonnes of finished steel was consumed in the two months based on Kallanish estimates.
