China's scrap prices increase with positive outlook
China's scrap prices rebounded last week on tight supply, and the market expects a positive trend in the short term.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed Chinese heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 3,351/tonne ($511/t) including VAT, up CNY 18/t from Thursday and down 40/t compared with the previous Friday.
