China's scrap imports double in July
Chinese scrap imports doubled in July, with falling overseas scrap prices prompting deals to Chinese buyers, Kallanish notes.
According to China's customs data, China imported 50,600 tonnes of recycling steel raw materials in July 2022, an increase of 128% from June.
