China's rebar rises, market faces inventory pressure

China's construction steel market briefly rebounded last week, but demand is still unable to support further improvements in prices. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 4,020-4,040/tonne ($591-594/t), up CNY 20/t on-week.
