Chinese rebar recovers losses on demand backlog

China's construction steel market ended a week of losses on Friday, with spot prices recovering quickly as market transactions rebounded. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,980-4,000/tonne ($579-582/t), down by CNY 100/t on-week.
