China's rebar gains before holiday

Restocking demand before the October holiday has driven up Chinese rebar prices, while the depreciation of the CNY has stimulated exports in September. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 20mm HRB400 rebar was trading at CNY 3,900-3,920/tonne ($548-551/t), rebounding by CNY 70/t on-week.
