China’s nickel ore imports jump higher in July
China's nickel ore imports saw a rebound in July with a 41.9% month-on-month increase, but this was still -9.56% lower compared with the same period of 2019, Kallanish notes.
In July, China imported 4.9 million tonnes of nickel ore, including 4.39mt from Philippines with a 18.1% y-o-y increase and a 42.9% m-o-m increase. Meanwhile, there's still 119,800t of nickel ore imports declared from Indonesia, compared with the 1.76mt of imports in July 20…
