China’s nickel ore imports increase in August
Customs data show that China imported a total of 31.82 million tonnes of nickel ore during the first eight months of 2019, up by 10.2% year-on-year. The imports in August were up 5.46% compared to July at 5.72mt, but this also down by -7.19% y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
