China’s Mengliheng starts building electrical steel project
China’s privately-owned Mengliheng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. started construction of its high-end electrical steel project on 6 September, just a few days after the project was approved by local government, Kallanish notes.
The company plans to invest a total of CNY 3 billion ($408 million), of which only one third is its own funds. The plant is located at Dalate Economic Development Zone in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.
