Chinese steel exports continue surge in January-February
China’s finished steel exports continued to surge year-on-year over January-February, while imports posted a loss, according to General Administration of Customs data.
During the two months, China exported 15.912 million tonnes of steel products, surging 32.6% from the same period in 2023, Kallanish notes. The total value of shipments however decreased 10%.
