China's coking coal imports increase in April
Due to the reopening of the Mongolia-China border and an increase in seaborne coking coal imports, China's coking coal imports steadily increased in April, Kallanish notes.
In April, China imported 6.21 million tonnes of coking coal, up 12% from March but still down -16% year-on-year, according to customs data. Among them, seaborne coking coal imports increased by 45% to 5.4mt, of which imports from Australia increased by 2% m-o-m to 4.47mt.&nbs…
