First state-owned shipbuilder in China declares bankruptcy
Zhoushan Wuzhou Ship Repairing and Building has become the first state-owned Chinese shipbuilder to officially have a bankruptcy petition accepted in court. The sector has long suffered from overcapacity and is listed beside steel as an industry in need of reform, Kallanish notes.
