China’s domestic coke price brews a further increase
Following the first increase in the past quarter, China’s domestic coke price is brewing a further increase after just one week, Kallanish notes.
From April to early June, domestic coke prices dropped ten times in a row alongside steel prices, reaching year-to-date lows. The total declines of coke prices accumulated to CNY 750-850/tonne ($105-119/t), depending on region and product (see Kallanish passim).
