China's coking coal imports plummet in February
Data from the General Administration of Customs show that China imported 5.45 million tonnes of coking coal in February 2020, a month-on-month decrease of -44.9% but a year-on-year increase of 87.3%. From January to February, a total of 15.35mt of coking coal was imported to China, a y-o-y increase of 5.07mt or 49.3%, Kallanish notes.
