China's coking coal imports surge in 2023
China's coking coal imports surged on-year in 2023, with Mongolia and Russia the main suppliers. Meanwhile, domestic coke production increased moderately.
China imported 101.9 million tonnes of coking coal last year, up 59.56% on-year, according to General Administration of Customs China data.
