China's coking coal imports fall on restrictions
China's coking coal imports dropped slightly in 2020, due to a decline in supply from top supplier Mongolia, Kallanish notes.
China's General Administration of Customs (GACC) data show China's total coking coal imports dropped -2.8% on-year to 72.57 million tonnes. In December alone, China imported 3.6mt of coking coal, a decrease of -4.1% from the same period last year.
