China’s coking coal imports dive deeper in May
China’s coking coal imports continued to dive in May for the second consecutive month after hitting a three-year high in March. Prices also dropped further simultaneously, according to data provided by the General Administration of Customs.
Monthly imports of coking coal came to 6.72 million tonnes, down 19.8% over April, which was also a bigger month-on-month drop than in April. The year-on-year growth also shrank to just 47.5%, compared with 97% registered…
