China’s coking coal futures rise on supply concerns
China's coking coal futures prices have reached a four-month peak due to possible supply shortages during the Chinese New Year holiday, Kallanish notes.
On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, coking coal futures contract for May 2020 closed at CNY 1,228/tonne ($178/t) on 20 January, reaching the highest since September.
