China's coke imports fall, domestic producers limit output

Chinese coke production rose slightly in the first half of this year, but coke imports fell sharply year-on-year. The recent fall in steel prices has prompted steelmakers to cut their coke buying prices; however, coke producers are trying to support prices by cutting production, Kallanish notes.
