China's coke, coking coal downtrend continues
China's coke prices dropped for the fourth round this week and further price declines are expected. Domestic spot coking coal prices followed the trend and speculation at ports was sluggish.
Anze low-sulphur prime coking coal was assessed at CNY 1,750/tonne ($244/t) last Friday, down CNY 30/t week-on-week. Lvliang quasi-first-grade wet quenching coke meanwhile reduced another CNY 50/t this week to CNY 1,600/t.
